Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of RAP Dojo, an independent educational web application operated by Lumivara, an independent developer based in Ontario, Canada. By creating an account or using RAP Dojo, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

1. The service

RAP Dojo is a daily-practice learning app for the move from classic ABAP to RAP, ABAP Cloud, released APIs, Clean Core and related topics. The content is shaped for self-study; it does not replace formal training, professional advice, or any certification. We may add, change, or remove features over time.

2. Accounts and acceptable use

• You are responsible for the security of your account and for activity under it. Provide accurate information and keep your sign-in method secure.
• You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
• You agree not to misuse the service — including no unauthorised access, scraping or bulk extraction of content, reselling or redistributing the content, reverse engineering, interfering with the service's operation or security, or any unlawful use.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms or that put the service or other users at risk.

3. Subscriptions and billing

• Pro subscription. RAP Dojo Pro is a paid, auto-renewing subscription. It renews automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or annual, as you choose) at the then-current rate until you cancel.
• Founding-50. Founding members who join under the Founding-50 offer keep their founding rate for as long as their subscription remains active and continuously renews, as described at the time of purchase.
• Cancellation. You can cancel at any time. Your cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you keep Pro access until then, and you are not charged again afterwards. We do not provide pro-rated refunds for the unused part of a period except as set out in the Refunds section.
• Payments. Payments are processed by Stripe via Stripe Checkout. We never store your full card number. Applicable taxes (such as VAT/GST/sales tax) may be added at checkout based on your billing location. Prices may change for future billing periods; we will give reasonable notice of changes that affect you.

4. Refunds

We want you to be satisfied. If you are a new subscriber and are not happy with RAP Dojo Pro, you may request a refund within 14 days of your initial purchase by contacting us at the address below, and we will refund that initial payment. Renewal payments are generally non-refundable, but if something goes wrong, contact us — we handle refund requests fairly and reasonably and will comply with the mandatory consumer-protection rights that apply to you. Where the law gives EU/EEA or UK consumers a right of withdrawal for digital content, you agree that, by starting to use the paid content immediately, you acknowledge access begins right away.

5. Intellectual property

The RAP Dojo content — lessons, explanations, exercises, practice questions, diagrams, copy, branding, and the app itself — is the property of Lumivara or its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the content for your own learning. You may not copy, redistribute, resell, or publicly share the content except as these Terms allow.

RAP Dojo is built on open-source software, including abaplint (used under the MIT License), which is credited along with our other open-source dependencies on the Open-source licenses page. Those components remain the property of their respective authors and are used under their own licenses.

6. Trademarks and non-affiliation

SAP, ABAP, ABAP Cloud, S/4HANA, Clean Core, Joule, RAP, Fiori, SAP BTP, C_ABAPD and other SAP product/service names are trademarks or registered trademarks of SAP SE (or an SAP affiliate) in Germany and other countries. RAP Dojo is an independent educational product and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, authorized by, or endorsed by SAP SE.

7. Disclaimer — “as is”

RAP Dojo is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that any specific fact, API detail, or example is current, complete, or error-free — the SAP platform surface changes between releases, so treat the content as a study aid, not an authoritative or primary source, and verify against official SAP documentation before relying on it in production.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lumivara will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or revenue, arising out of or relating to your use of RAP Dojo. To the extent we are found liable, our total aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. The courts located in Ontario have jurisdiction over disputes, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have in your place of residence.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the service evolves or the law changes. We will update the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, take reasonable steps to notify you. Continuing to use RAP Dojo after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
